Question remaining logged in using loginshare - 24-05-2006, 06:22 PM

I am using vbulliten along with same logged in detail for my web portal. However when I enter to esupport, again it ask for username and password. Why can't I remain logged in once logged in to vBulliten.
I also noticed that even though logged in at vbulliten, I can log on with different username at the same time.
This doesnot look normal, and user once logged in should remain logged in at all the place of esuppot when loginshare is used.
Can somebody code me this? OR is there something I am missing?

Is it an issue with my browser or the support suite?

When you log in to VBulletin, the server sets a session variable. This session variable does not persist across servers. It may persist across applications (VBulletin and Esupport) depending on settings on the server and the applications. However, maybe you can read the login-info from a cookie set by VBulletin, and use that info to auto-login to SupportSuite.

Is you VBulletin and SupportSuite on the same and/or domain ?

The session does not persist across applications, We use our own session handling functions and they dont support persistence.
