Replying to ticket gives blank white screen - 23-06-2006, 03:56 PM

Hello:

We have a problem- upgraded from .32 to .90, and moved kayako to its own linux server.

All the data moved over ok, and the upgrade seemed to work.

However - now- whenever you reply to a ticket, and click 'Send' the browser stays with a totally white blank screen.

Refreshing just sumbits the reply again.

If you click in the URL and hit ENTER then you get the 'Redirecting...' window and you are moved back to you ticket view.

This happends with Firefox and Safari, Mac and PC.

This happens on _both_ of the Configuration REDIRECT settings (meta or header).

Anyone else run into this?

And is there a fix?

Its driving me crazy.

Yep, it sure does. Test .32 and thats what happens. Havent tried it with .90 yet.

I am having the same thing with 3.00.13. It was working fine until 2 days ago. I don't know why.

I got a blank screen and the address bar of browser reads:

http://www.myhost.com/esupport/staff/index.php

Run the Template diagnostics test and check if it shows any error. Also check your server error_log for any reported errors.

Hi,

There is no related error in the error log. I can use the forward function without problem. These are the templates modifed:

header
searchresultdisplay
kbnavbar
kbcatdisplay
kbarticleview
kbpopulararticlesqb

some other templates are diagnosed as "Upgrade Revert Required"

You will need to restore the templates which are marked as "Upgrade Revert Required" to its original format. This can be a reason for the blank page issue. Try restoring them and check if it fixes the issue. There is *no* need to restore the templates which are marked as "Modified".
