Restoring KB Articles After Fresh Install - 19-03-2008, 12:21 AM

Before installing to the new stable build I took a back-up of my old database. Now that the new stable build is up and running, how can I extract all my KB articles from the old db into the new db? Is there an easy way that won't break the install?

SupportSuite allows exporting of KB articles as XML file from the Staff CP. Guess you missed that feature. Besides you made a fresh installation rather then upgrading it?

Yeah, I did not know about this feature damn it. Is there another way?

Where is the export feature? I still have access to the old install admin cp.

Damn it, I can't get to that feature. I can see the articles and the categories however the menu at the top is not clickable for some reason. Is there another way to get to this feature or a back-door procedure?

It looks like the old install is trying to read data from the new install which is why the navbar doesn't work. What files can I change to point to the old install to activate the navbar so I can do an export?
