Ah, obviously was just one they gave to staff. I think the best is either no dates or quarter dates to avoid people getting annoyed.

Notice it says "WILL" rather than "SHOULD".

A little information about our bug fixing and testing cycle:

1. We receive a bug and add it to the tracker. A developer or a manager will then confirm the bug, and reject or confirm it as such. The bug is then given a target version.

2. The developers then fix the bugs (starting with those marked for the closest version).

3. Once marked as fixed, they are tested by a manager and/or a developer. Functionality surrounding the affected area is also tested so that we can be sure of no domino-effect bugs (where one fix may break something else).

4. If the bug is found to be fixed, it will be confirmed as such. If there are still issues, the bug will be reopened with further tracing information.

5. The bug will be revisited by the developers with the new information, and we go back to step 3.

Maybe put this as a sticky topic somewhere (seporate) Jamie? Or even at the top of the bug tracker.

Sounds good but I notice the WinApp isn't going to be sorted until they have squashed a bug in that board so I doubt it will be released in the next few days. Jamie will confirm tho.

We do not know if it is a bug yet or something we need to work around; we need to spend more time tracing the issue. Whatever the problem is, I am afraid until we find out what it is the stable will be held back.

Jamie, don't wait for this to be fixed. That's not a top priority and it's maybe just a system conflict, so we can't do much about this.
If this bug has been spotted more than 1 time, ok, you should be investigating, but for now... don't make people wait just because of me
