Router Port - 12-07-2008, 06:14 AM

My home computer is hard wired to a D-link router.

To get SupportSuite (live chat) to work I have to enable the DMZ on my router.

Is there a port I need to open to get live chat to work?

Any help on this would be appreciated

DMZ will forward all ports to a particular machine so there is no need to do individual ports. It will work fine now.

Thanks for the reply. Was hoping for a port solution so I was not restricted to one computer, but it is easy enough to change which computer is in DMZ.

Thanks again

Well LiveResponse does not actually require any port forwarding to work. You only need this if you want to use ViewShare or the SIP addon. Either way, these ports are defined in Tools -> Options and then you can just forward them.
