Salvage mail that didn't match any queues - 15-01-2007, 07:58 PM

I just "lost" few mails when we started using the mail parser.
We recently moved our site to a new domain and all the info-mail to the old domain is forwarded to the new.

Of course I forgot that when we installet support suite and set up the parser, so six mails where not imported since there was no queue that matched the old info-addres, but I can read them if check the parser log.

So now I wonder if it's possible to forward those mails to the right department somehow?

Those mails have already been ignored

Try manually making new tickets based on those emails.

I was just about to do that, but I hoped that there was a way to do it automatically since they seem to be in the DB already. Maybe something to add in a future update.

Otherwise it's a great system. We just started using it in a non-profit community, but I showed my boss at work what it can do and he'll probably purchase it for our webshop.

We plan to add ability to import "raw emails" directly through the Admin CP in the near future.

Sometimes we use Outlook to do this.

If you forge the 'From' and 'To' address and save the e-mail (rather than sending it) into the Kayako mailbox, Kayako will pick it up and process it.
