Search function not working - 12-12-2006, 03:08 AM

I have certain tickets that won't come up. I search for things I know are in them and it's not working. I try to do a rebuild under the admin panel and it is timing out. What can I do? I have it set to just 35 and also tried setting it to 10. I need to be able to have my tickets and this problem just came up with this new version. Can anyone help?

I will second that one !

I have set minimum words / numbers to 2 or 3 for indexing to try and help this but I still find the search is not very good !

This is a long pending problem as others, but seems Kayako concentrates on the new feature development instead of fix.

Not sure it will be cured in .50 or not.

Search is very poor unfortunately and it impacts on our business quite a bit.

Hi, Varun or someone else, can you update this problem ? this basic funtion doesn't work for a long time since I purchase in Apr. 2006.
