Searching for setting - Display Staff Signatures in Web Area - 27-12-2006, 09:38 PM

I am trying to find this setting in v3, but can't seem to locate it anywhere.

Display Staff Signatures in Web Area

I found a previous post that referenced it in the General Settings area in v2, but wondering if it has been moved or removed in v3.

I've searched in Admin>Settings>General, and the other tabs, but can't seem to find it in any of the areas.

As in v3, signatures are automatically displayed in the web area. You do not need to enable it as it was required in v2. Make sure you have added the signature correctly under your Staff profile under:
Admin CP > Staff > Manage Staff

That is strange then. I have a signature for my staff login. But when I go to a ticket and click "Post Reply", I just see a blank text box instead of my signature.

But after sending and receiving the test ticket reply, I do see the signature, so the system is adding the signature after processing, but not displaying it while replying.

For you, it shows the signature, right after you click "Post Reply" and allows you to edit the text as well?

Your signature will *not* be displayed in the Post Reply box, the software will automatically attach it to your reply. From what I read, your software works just fine

oh ok, that's too bad. I'd rather be able to view the signature in the reply box in case I need to edit for different customers.

Perhaps I will create something in autohotkey to create signatures instead.
