Send from reciever - 02-06-2009, 04:21 PM

Ok basically what I have is a domain (example.com) and 1 registered address with it (support@example.com). I also have support@example.com to catch all email that is not otherwise handled so anything like wartasfae@example.com and whatever@example.com all goes to support@example.com Now that all email is forwarded to support and support pipes it to kayako there are no problems but I want all replys to come from whoever they were originally sent to. What I mean is that if someone sends to someone@example.com it will make it to kayako but I want that when I reply to the message from kayako the email to come from someone@example.com and NOT from support@example.com. So, is this possible and if so, how do I set it up?

Have you added someone@example.com as an email queue in the helpdesk? If you did, make sure you set the override settings for that email address. I believe that should fix the issue.
