Sending embedded images

I like to send embedded images in outgoing mails. I found a possible solution in file /includes/htmlMimeMail.php. There is a function "setHtml" called from /includes/functions_mail.php "setData".

1. I put an image "<img src="logo.jpg">" in the email template and clear the cache
2. Now I call the function "setHtml" with all three parameters ($html, $text, "????")

The third parameter is the path where the image files saved. The path exists. But images will not converted to CID. I believe the path parameter is wrong. I saved all my image files on http://domain/helpdesk/mailimages/. My system is running on IIS6 and Windows 2003.

Please, anyone can help me to find a solution for embedding images in html emails?

So, has anybody found the solution how to create and send outgoing emails (autoresponders, staff replies etc.) in HTML format with embedded pictures to prevent blocking them by email clients such as Outlook and Outlook Express? Could you explain please step-by-step all necessary changes?
