Sending KB Articles via Email not working - 26-05-2007, 10:38 PM

I cannot send KB articles via email from the Support Center "Article Options > Email Article" widget. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

Which version of Kayako are you using? Have you edited any templates?

Also, do you get any errors when doing it or does it just say it has been sent but actually hasn't?

KB articles not sending via email - 30-05-2007, 06:32 PM

I am using v3.00.32. I haven't edited any templates and there aren't any error messages indicating an unsent email. It simply never gets to the recipient.

Is any log file you can look at to troubleshoot the problem.

I would recommend upgrading to the latest stable version (3.10.02). It has most likely been fixed in this version.

Please let us know if it still causes a problem in the latest version and then Jamie (Comms Manager) can get a developer to look into it.

I agree. Since v3.00.32 Kayako has undergone numerous changes including bug fixes. It is recommended that you first upgrade your installation to the latest build and check if the issue still persist there on.
