server crashed now esupport wont send email - 02-05-2008, 01:03 AM

the server where we host esupport crashed and we had to move to different server. Everythign is back up and working but we cant send email. When we respond to a ticket it acts like it sends the email, we don't get any warnings but the email is not going out for some reason. I've sent multiple test messages and they never got to me.

How does esupport send email and what would be causing it to not send anymore. Again , I'm not getting any errors its just not sending. It does add a reply to the ticket though.

Maybe the outgoing mail service never restarted itself correctly so check this.

If it yet does not work, try setting SMTP details under:
Admin CP > Settings

I do not think it has anything to do with Kayako. It seems like your server MTA issue.
