Actually, the new office only has Andrew (working on V4 Windows apps), Ryan (working on V3 Windows apps) and the new PHP developer, John (working on V4 core application). This is being dealt with by Varun who is in the India office so it isn't stopping progress. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

That wasn't an excuse. I was just explaining that getting the new office sorted is Ryan's jurisdiction. It isn't effecting the work of anybody else. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

And, for the record, I am NOT a Kayako cheerleader. You will notice that in a few topics even I am questioning the way things are done especially Jamie's reluctance to provide enough information to look like a fully "transparent" company when needed which is what people like to see. Nobody (except Kayako and their bank account) gives a rat's a$$ about this new office. They're getting rich while us little guys lose comunications to our hard earned clients because of a major bug that Kayako is too /greedy/busy/lazy/dumb to fix. |

Ouch, are you at that stage already where you can't resist using language like dumb and lazy? I know that stage. Have seen it with other software I bought before. You wonder what's on their agenda. In stead of making the stuff work properly that is already there and which might have been the reason why people bought it, they tend to pay more attention to things like 'Ow, you can change the green button to red now in the new version and although you already had 12 .com registrars, we added 5 more for your convinience.' (Obviously talking about a domain register package..) Meanwhile your customers can't pay you since your payment module is full of bugs. Since most of this stuff is done in the US, build by lawyers and lawsuits, isn't there a law that you can get any customer refunded that you lost beause of buggy software? ![]() Maybe that's the way they do things these days. Quantity before quality. Hope they fix this one soon. |

You know, everything you said was blabbering to me except that last line... "Maybe that's the way they do things these days". Hmm?.. maybe it is. Maybe we should all just all roll over and give up, because that's the way they do things these days. I'm sure Kayako would appreciate it if we did. Then we could all worship their new office. |

We are working on this issue, as well as many other things - we are not sitting idle. I have prompted Varun to this issue and he will attend after this weekend. Once again I ask of your patience; we will deliver. -------------------------------------------------------------------

I just tested this bug to see if it happened in OSCommerce LoginShare and it doesn't appear to. I have changed both the e-mail address and password of my OSCommerce account and found that Kayako picked up both of these changes fine. I changed them back and this was fine too. Not sure if this is contrary to anyone elses experience? Running: Version: 3.11.01 Build Type: STABLE Build Date: 06 Aug 2007 08:45:26 PM |

The only outstanding issue is mixed up IDs as discussed on the previous page. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |
