Smarty Problem? - 15-01-2007, 06:47 AM

Hello,

I have 2 copies of kayako files on the same server, one is the original one on which we are working, and the second is our backup. The original one fails to send the emails to user or our alerts. It send the email but no content. Also the page for submiting a ticket is not loading, we have an empty page with no errors.
For the back-up everything works fine. Both copies share the same data base.
We did a file comparison but files are identical. Any idea why is not sending the contents? We thought it might be the templates, but no idea where to start looking.
This is kind of urgent, so any help would be appreciated.

You seem to have edited the templates of your original installation wherein there seems to be an error which is causing this issue. I suggest you run a Diagnostics test on your templates to look for any reported errors. Fixing this error will fix the blank page issue as well.

We didn't modify the templates, but in the mean time we solved the problem by deleting the cache files.
