Spell Check - 01-05-2008, 11:20 PM

Hi people:

We need to activate the functionality whenever a ticket is sent. Currently we need

to click on the “Spell Check ” button to activate the function.

Is it possible to activate this function automatically when the users are answering the ticket or

before send it to customer, the function spell check is checking the words of user.????

otherwise before send a ticket to customer either by reply o forward the function spell check

is actived?????

thanks.....

Not without modifying the code.

I'd suggest you use FireFox 2+ with the correct language as this works much better. See http://www.craigbrass.net/personal/i...508-072618.jpg for an example.

Agreed with Craig. The FF spell checker works pretty well for me too, except it can't do capitals properly. Misspell a capitalized word, and it returns the proper spelling, but lowercase. Not a big deal, but be aware.

The only thing I've noticed so far about Firefox and eSupport is that if I try to use the Rich HTML editor I have problems adding links and images

I imagine that is a fault with the RTE rather than Kayako. DevEdit and WYSIWYG Pro work fine with FireFox' spell checker. Hopefully this will sort itself when Kayako change WYSIWYG Editor in V4.
