You could go Admin CP -> Templates -> Live Support -> chatimage and manually specify the URL of each image on an SSL server. This way, the image would always be loaded from an SSL server so would never error.

For Live Response, you need to specify the Secured Connection under Admin CP Admin CP >> Settings >> Live Support >> Always Use Secure Connection (https) For Chat = Yes If this setting is enabled, all chat sessions will always be conducted over https. |
