I'm telling you, this problem is huge! It needs to be fixed as priority 1! Here I am, making sure things are under control in the biz and reviewing all tickets. One staff assigning another staff tickets but staff A doesn't realize staff B can't see the ticket because staff B is not a member of the department. Staff A didn't change the department, he only changed ownership. But because staff B can't see the department the ticket originated, the ticket never gets handled! So, again again again, you MUST have the department list filtered to only show the departments that selected staff is assigned. You all really need to consider a workflow mentality, i.e. pick staff before you can pick a department, etc. But this issue of losing tickets is catastrophic and generates irate customers because they get blown off, never answered, and supervision gets irate because we have staff that can't see tickets they were assigned! Can you please do something about this??? |

This issue needs to be fixed by now! It is a simple AJAX fix like you did with the Status drop down. You simply need to populate the department listing based off of the selected Staff. It is not difficult, please publish this fix ASAP! You do not understand how critical this issue is! |
