Staff Reply sends while typing ticket reply (pressing enter causes send?) - 05-06-2007, 08:37 PM

Once again this web site is crawling slow, and I'm not getting e-mail notifications at times, seems your server cannot handle the load...

Anyways, every now and then I'll be replying to a ticket and all of the sudden the ticket sends. Most likely this occurs when I am pressing ENTER to add a few line breaks in my message. Anyone else had this problem where all of the sudden the ticket is SENT while you are still typing your ticket reply?

NC Software,
First off, the forum is perfectly fast to me, don't know about others though. Second, this happened to me once as well, but it was because I accidentally hit tab instead of Q, then enter, which would cause the select to move to the next input and enter submits it.

I think Slipnet hit it, I tried to re-create in my system & the only thing that caused this was hitting tab first.

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.
Cheers!

Same here for the recreation (pressing tab first), and the site runs exceptionally fast here in the UK. I believe you have reported slowness before, so I am inclined to think it is your ISP.

I'm using Firefox 2 and confirm what eiden just posted regarding ctrl-enter.

...Which I actually like as a quick way to send (now that I know that it is there!)
I'm for anything that keeps my hands on the keyboard!

http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/keyboard

CTRL+return = official shortcut for firefox

Btw: the site runs well out there.
