Question Sub-categories and staff member selection? - 07-05-2008, 01:19 AM

Hi,

Question: is it doable in the current stable release(s) of eSupport or SupportSuite to be able to point new tickets to a category and then sub-category or even a particular staff-member when a customer submits a ticket request?

There is no such out-of-the-box functionality to do sub-categories at the moment. It is planned for V4 however.

Release ETA for v4 to contain sub-categories? - 05-06-2008, 06:45 PM

A staff member had replied on the upcoming release for version 4 to contain sub-categories and the like. Is there an estimated time for the release? Please let me know.

No - there is no ETA on the release of Version 4, I am afraid. The best thing you can do is visit the forum every so often and check for updates
