Question Support login issue - 21-04-2006, 02:08 PM

When support users follow the email link to check the status of a ticket they get this message:

ERROR: You do not have enough permissions to access this page. Please login by entering your Email and Password.

If they enter the username and password from the email, they are able to login. Anyone know how I can get rid of this message?

Thanks

Hi,

There is a tweak you can make to the URL in the email so it auto logs them in, its already posted on the forums.

EDIT: Found the post (http://forums.kayako.com/showpost.ph...9&postcount=47)

I have experienced the same issue. login to the account, try to visit multiple tickets and or multiple pages of tickets. the system will request your password, like it loses it's way.

So once logged in as a client navigating through multiple tickets/pages of tickets seems to log you out?

Are you running 3.00.80 Stable?

Hi Niel,

Yes when in the list of support tickets in the user support area, I can view a few pages then it ask for me to login again. Also seems that sometime if I pause between the first page and the second I am asked to re-enter the login information. Could be a time sensitive symptom.

Hi Tom,

It could be session related to the client session, I'll see if I can re-produce it here.

I've been looking at this thread because it's similar to the problem I have, but in my case, the URL always seems to be wrapped so that the last part of the URL appears on the next line in the autoreply (and not part of the link). When the user clicks on the link they get the login error message but if you paste the rest of the URL it lets them in OK
