Well I have setup my Exchange server properly. When I use telnet I receive the following: +OK Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 POP3 service ready USER the.correct.username +OK PASS the.correct.password +OK User successfully logged on. However, when I call the script via my webbrowser with http://www.mydomain.com/ts/cron/index.php?_t=parser I always receive the following error: array(2) { [0]=> string(73) "No credentials cache found (try running kinit) for exchange.mydomain.com" [1]=> string(91) "Can not authenticate to POP3 server: The AUTH protocol exchange was canceled by the client." } Total Messages Rejected Messages: Accepted Messages: Within supportsuite the following parameters are configures: Mail Parser » Email Queues » Edit Email Queue - Queue Type: Tickets - Fetch Type: POP3 - Host: exchange.mydomain.com - Port: 110 - Username: the.correct.username - Password: the.correct.password Anyone any idea? I'm having the same problems with Kayako --> Exchange 07 POP3, and I can't seem to figure out the problem. Has anyone got any ideas how to get around this? The Kayako install in this case would be www.mydomain.com/kayako and the Exchange server is located at exchange.mydomain.com It seems that kinit is being used to help with authentication (presumably because the servers are on the same domain), and a) Kerberos is not going to work in my current scenario and b) I just want to authenticate using standard plaintext (at least just for getting this set up initially). Any light shedding would be really welcome! :0) |

Please submit a support ticket about this so a developer can look closer at the issue (and do some debugging on your server). -------------------------------------------------------------------

Please submit a ticket as Jamie said. A server investigation needs to be done to determine the problem and add in a fix. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

This is the run-around I am getting. Is this a communications failure? Conversation Clint.Thomson@Celeratec.com Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 04:09 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Error accessing email from our new exchange 2007 server using pop3. Manual test of pop server (Internal.Celeratec.com) +OK Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 POP3 service ready USER support +OK PASS **OBFUSCATED** +OK User successfully logged on. However, when I call the script via my webbrowser with http://support.celeratec.com/cron/index.php?_t=parser I always receive the following error: Warning: imap_open(): Couldn't open stream {internal.celeratec.com:110/pop3/notls}INBOX in /vservers/troubleticke/htdocs/modules/parser/cron_parser.php on line 84 array(1) { [0]=> string(91) "Can not authenticate to POP3 server: The AUTH protocol exchange was canceled by the client." } Total Messages Rejected Messages: Accepted Messages: It is critical that I get this resolved ASAP. Neetika Bhagat Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 04:38 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, Please check your POP3 server information that you have entered in configured mail queue. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Regards, Neetika Bhagat Clint.Thomson@Celeratec.com Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 07:51 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information is correct. It works in telnet. Please advise. Clint.Thomson@Celeratec.com Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 07:56 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I enter the same settings in outlook express, it downloads the email without any problem. Neetika Bhagat Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 08:16 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, We have checked by inserting a new queue with our mail server information. Your helpdesk is fetching the mails properly. There is nothing wrong with our software. Please check your POP3 information(Port, Hostname, Username, Password) that you are using in your configured mail queue. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Regards, Neetika Bhagat Clint.Thomson@Celeratec.com Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 10:45 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, Why do I have to argue with you about this issue. The Exchange Server 2007 POP3 service is working correctly and the POP3 feature in my Support Suite is working correctly, however they are not working correctly together. I have tested my POP3 server with the same settings in the Support Suite control panel with Outlook express and it works perfectly, and the Support suite works perfectly with my old Exchange Server 2003 POP3 Service, however it does not work with Exchange 2007 and gives the message above. I was told to put this request in by Craig Brass - Kayako Tester and this issue is affecting more that just my installation. As more and more of your clients move to Exchange 2007, this issue will become worse. See Forum posting SupportSuite POP3 from Exchange 2007 So either give me some assistance or a better error messages from support suite or help me figure out the problem, don't simply reassign the blame for this issue back to me. I need help, not an argument. Neetika Bhagat Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 11:04 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, We have tried with our two POP3 accounts and your helpdesk is fetching the mails properly. Could you please test it with another POP3 account? Please check and let us know. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Regards, Neetika Bhagat Clint.Thomson@Celeratec.com Posted On: 08 Jun 2007 11:05 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The problem is not with any POP3 except the POP3 from an Exchange 2007 Server. Did you test it to an Exchange 2007 POP3 server? |

Hopefully Jamie will get this chased up for you Monday when the staff are back in the office. It is obvious that something about Exchange 2007 POP3 is different to other POP3 servers and thus causes this problem. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

I think submitting a ticket would be the best idea (http://members.kayako.com -> "Get Support"). They will be able to pass it to the developers for a fix if one is required. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |
