Switching languages - 15-08-2008, 07:04 PM

I doubt it is possible at the moment, but we're looking for an easy solution to have multiple languages in one installation.

So visitors can choose their language at the top menu for instance.

Will this ever be an option? What is the stance of other eSupport (or other products) users on this?

Thanks

There's a pulldown in the lower right hand corner of the customer interface on a given helpdesk that allows users to select their own language; do you mean that?

If so, moving it into a menu is just a question of customizing your templates.

Well, basically I want to be able to have articles in different languages as well. Should've had added that to my starting post.

So whenever a user switches his or her language, articles are displayed in that language as well.

That isn't currently possible but something that should be considered in V4.

Ah. Craig's correct: at this time that isn't automatically possible.

I hope it will. Would be a great addition in our situation.
