Arrow [SYS/PERM] Lockdown in sector 4 -- what is this? - 18-05-2009, 05:34 PM

I've set SupportSuite to retreive email from Gmail SSL, it work well for long time.
But in a couple day before, I got this error...

What is this... ? Thanks in advance.

As the last string says, it appears to be due to "Too many login failures". You may have to unlock your e-mail account, or wait for an amount of time to elapse before it will allow you to login again.

It is strange how it was working but has recently stopped. This could either mean that you or someone else has changed your password and SupportSuite's use of the old credentials has triggered the lockdown, or someone has been repeatedly trying to access your e-mail account with the wrong credentials (again, causing the lockdown). There may be other reasons for the lockdown - I'd contact Google for more information, or refer to their knowledgebase.

This article contains some more details about the problem: http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-111...hreadID=201908
