Teams vs Groups (from 3.00.27) - 31-07-2007, 04:05 PM

I have an old version (3.00.27) of SupportSuite and see that upgrading will have Teams, as opposed to Groups (for Staff Users).

Will the upgrade simply translate my Groups into Teams, or will I have to create Teams to mirror my current Groups?

Also, can certain Teams have access to certain Ticket Statuses?
I would like to have some Staff (in Team A) be able to move a ticket to a specialist Status (X), but have Team B unable to place a ticket in Status X.
Is this possible?

I think Teams / Groups are the same thing and it is just a name change. There would be no need for you to do anything.
