Okay -- maybe I'm missing something, but I'm racking my brain over this one.
I've created two template groups for helpdesks that we have on two different floors of our building.
When I assign a user to template group 2, they still have access to knowledgebase & news items for template group 1, even though I've selected only group 1 on the category details page for the KB.
It is restricting the articles and news items to the specified group in the client area, but I certainly can't have staff assigned to template group 2 creating and perhaps even inadvertently deleting KB articles and news from group 1.
It is absolutely required for us to have separation in the staff CP of KB, News, Downloads, and even Users for each assigned template group.
Have I missed a setting? |
