I think you are permitted to do it as long as you have the test installation locked down with password protection so nobody else can access it. Jamie will be able to confirm this. You will need to put it on the same domain as your license otherwise it will refuse to install. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

The license is binded to your registered domain. You can install the software under a sub-directory such as domain.com/test to run a test installation if your license is registered for domain.com. You cannot install the software on a seperate domain different from the one the license is registered under. craigbrass is right, I wanted to know if we are permitted to install the latest CVS in a password protected area for testing purposes only (eg. www.domain.com/testcvs/ while the regular installation is at www.domain.com/support/). When I remember correctly, the license agreement says that we bought a per-installation license. If it is not allowed to make a separate cvs test installation, we would not be able to give it a try... -ami- |

As long as your installation is not fully 'live' and under the conditions you described, this will be fine. In fact, it is a good procedure to follow when upgrading to CVS versions. -------------------------------------------------------------------
