Question Ticket update returns to ticket list - 08-04-2008, 05:40 PM

Hello... I've searched and haven't found anything yet. So, either everyone is fine with the behavior, or I'm using the wrong search terms.

Essentially, I'm looking to see if there is a way that when I update a ticket, that I am returned back to the ticket. In its current form, whenever I update a ticket, I get returned to the ticket management screen with some sort of status and department filter (which the filter never works for me...more information below). Is there a setting I'm missing to have Kayako return me to the ticket I'm working on?

If not, at the very least, is there a way to change the filter that is used after submitting an update. It seems to use the ticket department and status as a reference for the filter, but in my case I have replies change the status to 'waiting for customer'. Because of this, the resulting ticket list doesn't show my ticket that I just updated.

Thanks. Hopefully there is something simple that I'm missing in the configuration.

-Eric

In the Staff CP on the right corner there is an 'options' link. Click that and select 'after replying take me to' and select 'ticket'. That should do it

Thanks. You know, after you mentioned that, I remembered seeing that option. I do indeed have that set to ticket. So, I guess the problem is more specifically with every action other than 'reply'. That option works fine when I reply to a ticket, but if I want to change the due date, add a CC, change subject, etc, then I get sent back to the ticket list.
