Time and Date - 23-07-2008, 08:08 PM

Hey

I am having a problem with the time and date, my server has the correct date and time and right time zone. I have set esupport with the correct time zone. The time on the helpdesk when logging calls/replying to calls etc is always an hour out.

I have done a simple php script to show the time and date on the server and that is giving the correct time.

Please can someone help.

Many Thanks

There is a known defect with timezone interpretation in 3.20.* (resolved in the 3.30 developer's repo) which can cause a helpdesk to be an hour off of correct time, disregarding the server and the application's time zone settings. I believe you are experiencing this defect. Please take a look at defect 512 to confirm.

Kayako Bug Tracker - Viewing Issue #512 - Timezone Settings / Daylight Savings

If that's the problem you're experiencing, upgrading to next-stable should resolve it.

There isn't a line you can replace; the fix was complex and pervasive. This is only fixed in the developer's repository. The fix will become available to you with the release of 3.30.00, sir.
