Question Time Format and Date Format not sticking for staff - 12-10-2005, 04:35 PM

I set the Time and Date format in the Admin but when I log in as a Staff it doesn't display the date format or time zone properly. Any ideas?

Thank you,
Ken

Hi,

Where is the date not showing what you have set?

NOTE
The js calendar dates are not affected by the options in admin to alter the date format.

Hi,

What areas is the date showing as wrong?

Is your server time spot on for where you are located?

Off the top of my head the Due Date is formatted D-M-Y

and it is the work summary report that displays the time in the wrong hour.

These are reported bugs already. There are a couple spots where the date format is not being adhered to. I didn't know about the time format, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Hi,

I know about the time being off as have just looked at that bug already open for it, although it was only about sn hour out for me when I tested it.

Anywhere the JS calendar is used the date format will not adhere to what it is set to in the admin area - which to me looks to be pretty much all over.

I went into the Admin and set the time as CST but when I go into a brand new ticket, the time of it is off by about 5 hours. This is the time it shows that the ticket was submitted.

Is there another setting I'm missing, or is this a bug?

Thanks,

OK I'm embarrassed. I found it. It's in the Staff settings.

Has anyone figured out a way to change the JS Calendar due date in the ticket window from European date format to US date format??? This would be very helpful and much less confusing to our staff.

If one request would do you think it would have been fixed by now. Looks like folks have been asking for this seemingly simple fix from over a year. If there is no fix from Kayako, is there a workaround fix we can implement?
