"?timo" insted "Ótimo" on tickets subjects - 28-06-2006, 03:52 PM

Hi,

when i send a e-mail to the parser email for my suport department from my outlook /or from webmail (as gmail or another) the subject comes without acento (for exemple "ótimo". In place, i can see a word as "?timo". But just in subject. In the name of sender and in the body of e-mail is ok.

I have this problem only when it is send from a e-mail. If it is send from my main support cente there are no problem, the words on subject come ok.

I am using UTF-8.

I receive this sugestion from kayako support:

You will need to change the Character Set under three different areas:

1) Admin CP > Languages > Manage Languages > Edit
2) Admin CP > Languages > Manage Phrases > "charset" phrase
3) locale/en-us/en-us.php file, Look for 'charset' => 'UTF-8'

Change UTF-8 to the charset used by the language you are using. Once changed, it shall fix the issue.
But these was made before and nothing.

Someone have any idea? I am waiting a reply from kayako support since 06/22 but nothing.

Regards,

André.

Thanks,

André.
