Use the "files" directory for attachments rather than storing them in the database.

Keep using the database optimisation tool inside Diagnostics inside the admin control panel.

Run the maintenance wizard often to clean attachments from old tickets.

I would suggest you leave that as the default setting as it can increase server load.

You might want to enable debugging to check why is Kayako taking so long to load. You can enable debugging by editing the config.php file.

Is this the code I have to change?
Code:
/**
* DISPLAYS EXACT SESSION EXPIRY REASON
*/
//define("DEBUGSESSIONEXPIRY", true);
/**
* LOGS ANY SQL ERRORS UNDER ./files/sqllog.txt - ENABLE ONLY TO DEBUG!
*/
//define("DEBUGSQL", true);
/**
* LOGS THE SLA DEBUG MESSAGES
*/
//define("SLADEBUG", true);
My kayako is very slow , I am really getting tired
is it because I use 3 templates?
I also have ssl

You may also want to optimize table for your database tables, and consider installing a bytecode cacher such as APC.

John, Thanks I asked my server manager to install it but see his response

We have installed APC PHP cache in your VPS. The PHP info page 'http://domain.com/info.php' showed the APC module without any problem.

apc
APC Support enabled
Version 3.0.14
MMAP Support Enabled
MMAP File Mask no value
Locking type File Locks
Revision $Revision: 3.140 $
Build Date Jun 28 2008 13:45:54

But the kayako ticketing system installed in http://mydoamin.com/support was giving segmentation faults. So we have disabled the APC module by commenting the line 'extension="apc.so"' in '/usr/local/lib/php.ini'. It seems, there are some conflicts with kayako and APC. please refer, http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=545059

Please check it from your end.

what should I do now?
