Trace routes sent it get cut off - 15-08-2007, 07:32 PM

I have a strange problem and i'm not sure what is causing it. When a customer of ours sends a ticket containing a traceroute it gets cut off in the SupportSuite. Here is an example traceroute:
Code:
Tracing route to munged.munged.com [66.220.3.61]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1
  2 * * * Request timed out.
  3 27 ms 8 ms * ge-1-6-ur03.pinole.ca.sfba.comcast.net [68.86.24
8.53]
  4 * 21 ms * te-8-1-ur01.pinole.ca.sfba.comcast.net [68.87.19
2.97]
  5 11 ms 9 ms 28 ms 68.86.90.166
  6 16 ms 18 ms 12 ms 68.86.90.165
  7 26 ms 13 ms 11 ms 64.215.30.201
  8 * * * Request timed out.
  9 19 ms 16 ms 11 ms Hurrican-Electric-LLC.TenGigabitEthernet1-4.ar2.
SJC2.gblx.net [64.214.174.246]
 10 13 ms 14 ms 12 ms gige-g12-1-0.gsr12416.sjc2.he.net [72.52.81.182]

 11 * * * Request timed out.
The result ends up like this in SupportSuite:
Code:
Tracing route to munged.munged.com [66.220.3.61]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms
Any ideas what is causing this? A setting I have setup incorrectly?

Looks like the "<" is doing it but I have no idea why. I tried it on my install and it works fine. Are you on 3.11.01?

Oh actually wait. It is doing it for me too. Notification email shows it right but the ticket in staff and user view shows wrong. Bug me things. Submit it at http://bugs.kayako.net

It is mistaking <1 as a HTML tag. I have submitted this as a bug. http://bugs.kayako.com/index.php?cmd=view&id=258

Thank you for reporting it.

I thought it could be mistaking it as HTML. But "<1" is not in my allowed tags... so shouldn't it have been ignored?

If it was in your allowed tags, it would have then been ignored because it would have been "allowed" through.

I thought the allowed tags was to determine what tags are parsed as HTML and what tags are just sent as plaintext. Wouldn't the allowed tags mean 'allowed to be HTML' so the tags not in the list would just be displayed as text like "<THESE><are></Tags>" ?
