Exclamation Trying to Upload files to the Download Module - Not Working - 03-12-2008, 02:21 PM

So i'm trying to upload files to the download module. I don't belive the custom attachment filter is enabled. The file does end in ".exe", i'm not sure if that makes a difference or not, but I click to browse for the file then click the insert/submit button at the bottom. I then go back to the main helpdesk page and look for any files and nothing is there. I'm also positive that the cache and files folders on my linux box are 777. Any Ideas?

Thanks!

So we figured out that it was a couple of settings in php.ini as follows:

1. post_max_size = 50MB
2. upload_max_filesize = 50MB
3. max_execution_time = 600
4. max_input_time =600
5. memory_limit = 512M

The values that we in place previously were too low so it wasn't working. Made the settings change and files were uploaded successfully.

There's also a post size limit in apache.conf (or httpd.conf on redhat derived OSes), and if you're storing attachments in your database, there's the max_packet_size thing in mysql's configuration
