Unable to send clients replies - 25-09-2006, 06:28 PM

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can come up with some ideas with what has gone wrong here.

Basically, when a client sends a ticket via the helpdesk website, or by e-mail they will receive confirmation that the ticket has been created etc.

Now the part that doesnt work is when a staff member replies, the client doesnt get an e-mail to say their ticket has a new post.

Any ideas what could be wrong here?!

Probably your server mail() function is not configured correctly. Try switching to SMTP under:
Admin CP > Settings > CPU Optimization & Server Settings > Enable SMTP
That should fix the issue. Hope this helps.

Nope that aint fixed it. Now no e-mails are being sent.

Is there any way of finding a log file for phpmail or smtp logs?
Its a windows 2000 box its running from.

any ideas?
