"undefined" submenu on several staff menu items - 25-04-2008, 07:05 AM

I've logged in as a staff member and some sub-menus, such as Manage User under Users account, are not appearing. In sub-menu place the system returns "undefined" and actually I can't access that section. I've checked the permissions for current user in admin area and all permissions were turned to on. I also tried to login to staff area as admin, and I couldn't access those sections as well. Is it a bug?

Have you recently done an upgrade? Have you modified any of the files with Kayako?

Try holding Control and pressing F5 which may fix it.

Yes, I've made a lot of changes, but this sub-menu was working fine after them. Then it suddenly disappeared. How page refresh will help if I see new string labeled "undefined"?
Which file is holding menus and submenus, that I could check it?

I got this too. Try clearing your Kayako cache from the Admin CP. It fixed it for me, although I've had the same thing happen twice in as many weeks.

No problem. I'm not sure yet whether this happens as a result of tweaking code in some way, something to do with my server config, or an actual bug in the code.

We'll see if anyone else gravitates to this issue.

does anyone know the fix for this? I have tried deleting the cache folder directly via ftp and the problem fixes itself for a week or so...

Contact support (http://members.kayako.net -> "Get Support") as I have not seen such an error before.

Do you have any cache supporting software installed on your server?
