User View Ticket - No Custom Field Data - 06-06-2006, 05:38 PM

When the end user views their tickets, they can only see the Custom Field names, but the actual custom values do not display.

It appears fine in the Staff CP.

The field is set as required, not user editable, no regex.

Does it display fine if not set as required? This can be a bug. Please file it at http://bugs.kayako.net and send me the Task ID to varun AT kayako.com

Regards,

Varun Shoor

Which version are you using? I believe this has now been fixed.

1. Stop MySQL and your webserver.
2. Take a backup of your database server.
3. Create a new folder with version name and copy the upload directory content from the new build.
4. Copy key.php from your existing installation directory.
5. Copy "files" folder
5. Update config.php
6. Restart your MySQL and Webserver. Change the location to this new directory and restart your Webserver once again if required.
7. Go to templates, you need to update the changes whatever you have done.
8. Do a thorough check, if everything looks Okay leave it as it is, else revert back to the old version.

Any doubts?

Regards,
Mahesh,
What's the difference between a CVS and a STABLE build?
There does not appear to be a STABLE build for 3.02.00.

I assume that the 3.04.10 STABLE build will also have this patch.
Can you confirm this?

Thank you very much.

This level of helpfulness is difficult to find on most forums.
