whats coming? - 06-03-2008, 03:40 PM

Hello,

I realize there is a feature requests forum. But we would like to know what features have already been started into development for future versions? It has been quite some time since we have seen any new features added to kayako even though we requested some more than a year ago.

Honestly, instead of adding new features they should be focusing on making sure that the ones currently implemented are bug free

New features are added with every new stable release. Due to our constrained development resources at the moment, we need to trade off the number of features added in each release for the time to implement and number of issues doing so will introduce.

What major changes are coming soon?

Anything like this?
SwiftTraction - Time Management & Time Sheet Tracking Web Application - ActiveCampaign, Inc.

Hi all,

We have to balance maintenance of the existing product against adding lots of new features. With each stable, we tend to add new features on most releases.

However, due to our currently constrained development resources we cannot add lots of the requests with each release (where each request involves at the least implementation, testing, feedback, implementation, testing and maintenance).

So is your answer, no major features are coming soon?

I personally would rather they fixed the current problems and stop putting new features in until its stable.

As far as features are concerned they should address the ones that have been requested ages ago and would really be usefull like SSL support

Gawd I don't know how many years I have been asking for this feature to be implemened so eSupport can work in either SSL or non-SSL pages.

Mind you there happy to take the support money but from what I can see been a while since a stable version has been released Augist 2007?
