Hello everyone, Update: WHMS integration has been completed. Please see: WHMCS Integration Kayako and WHMCS are working on an integration package for SupportSuite and the WHMCS billing system; hopefully to bring similar functionality as seen in the ModernBill integration currently offered with SupportSuite. There is a WHMCS LoginShare module already available that provides shared login functionality. For more information, see: http://www.whmcs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4138 We have no ETA for the completion of this project; but it is in progress and will be completed. I understand there has been some frustration as to how long this has taken so far. Your patience is appreciated; it will take some time to complete as our developers learn WHMCS and complete the integration, and maintain the core product as well as adding this functionality. -------------------------------------------------------------------

The old discussion thread can be found here: LoginShare for WHMCS? Please keep discussion related to the WHMCS integration. We will post updates when we have updates to give; bumping for them will not hurry things up. Thank you, -------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah, bugger. I just got done integrating mine into my new design and WHMCS. ![]() Looking forward to seeing how it's going to be done, however. Will it be more like calling Kayako pages inside WHMCS instead of simply skinning it? |

The reason this can not be done here, is that the two applications can not share passwords, at default. Kayako uses md5 which does not allow for decryption. WHMCS uses a custom password system which does allow for decryption, because it needs to do so, due to the nature of WHMCS and what it does. I've actually tested this myself, and found it to be true. This "loginshare" was developed when Matt was using clear text passwords, and storing them in the db that way (bad move). | |

The LoginShare between WHMCS and Kayako allows Kayako to pull data from WHMCS. It does not allow data to be fed back the other way (Kayako -> WHMCS). This is how LoginShares were intended to work. The integration currently being worked on will allow Kayako's front end to appear inside WHMCS without the need for the user to login again and to match the two in design without doing much. Out of interest, what modifications will be needed to implement this when it is done (ie the ModernBill only requires the uploading of files and path changing, what does this require the end user does)?
