Unhappy Blank Chats in Winapp - 05-05-2009, 06:11 AM

Hi

I have submitted ticket SCU-892412 and after multiple responses, still no help.

Basically issue is

1) The livechat works fine for MY STAFF + Others on Windows XP.

2) I can read LIVECHATs fine with PYLIVERESPONSE from http://forums.kayako.com/f48/pyliver...windows-19980/

3) The default LIVECHAT Winapp gives me "BLANK TEXT" In chats, and I am running Windows Vista 64bit Ultimate, and I have tried re-installing but same issue. I can not read live chats.

Example = A customer requests live chat, I can open it up / type in messages, the customer will see it from his Browser, but I do not see my own TEXT or the text the customer replies, and my WINAPP just doesn't show any text from the conversation period, but it sends mine perfectly fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

The best thing to do would be to open a support ticket.

Hi

I'm using IE8 on VISTA 64bit, maybe that's issue, we need to upgrade to v3.5?

Have you tried using the WinApp on other computer? One of my client is having the same issue however he has not upgraded to 3.5 and he is using IE8. So it can be an IE8 issue. We can considering an upgrade.

Upgraded to latest stable, now works fine
so it is IE8
