Chat not connecting - 05-04-2007, 02:20 AM

So after three or four visitors attempt to chat with me and didn't say anything or respond to me I got a bit suspicious and tested the system myself.

When I'm attempting to start a chat connection the user is just left hanging, and its not connecting. After I accept the chat the visitor's window never seems to be informed that I am trying to chat with them.

I am currently using SupportSuite 3.10.02, and WinApp 3.1.1.18

It was working before I made the upgrade to 3.10

Hi psipro,

Please upgrade to the latest client application (http://hotfix.kayako.com), and check to see if you have any templates that require reverting due to an upgrade (particularly templates like "chatheaderframe").

You can do this by going to Admin CP > Templates > Diagnostics > Find Modified.

The error was that the templates were not updated properly which is odd becasue I didn't have any customizations done.

Hi psipro,

When you upgrade SupportSuite, templates may also be upgraded with it. When a SupportSuite upgrade carries with it newer templates, you have to revert them manually in this way.
