Flashing Taskbar Bug

Are you minimising by clicking the taskbar item for the currently focused window? This is where the flashing like that occours.

I have the same problem as craig. Windows XP home SP2.

It blinks and continues to blink until I open the chat window, then it stops; it does not start again. This is using Windows Vista.

Yep. Tested last night on a blank XP and Vista install. Same problem.

Windows XP SP2, all patches.
Winapp 3.1.1.61 STABLE

When a chat is initiated by a visitor, the Chat Windows flashes taskbar and Window. Using Windows, the normal behavior is, that flashing stops if the chat window gets focus.

Winapp does not. You have to minimize the chat window and bring ist up right afterwards to stop flashing. I think there's something broken in recognizing the focus.

Version .58 worked correct as it operates like any other windows application.

Nothing has changed in the chat code for quite a long time. The flashing behavior has been the same across many, many versions. Any differences you are perceiving are either not there -- or caused by third-party applications.

I do believe that the application is not flashing correctly, but there is no way that one version worked "properly" and another version didn't -- they have all worked the exact same way.

This has actually always been an issue for me. I just never got around to reporting it
