Hi

I have now fixed this issue, it was to do with my router having ports forwarded incorrectly.

However could you tell me where I can remove the copyright message at bottom of the viewshare (live window) as I have purchased Branding Free option and this does not look good to our customers.

Also we are experiencing paint issues, where by if we move windows etc. on our screen they dont always refresh correctly on the clients computers

Thanks
Terry

The copyright info is stored in HTML files that can be found in the html directory inside the WinApp installation directory. Specifically, loader.html.

Yes, each staff member must make this change on their machines.

Are there instructions on how one can set the port forwarding in the router to get ViewShare to work. I am having issues making this work for a client. Ports seems to be forwarded correctly in the router and ViewShare when tried within the company works fine but it does not work when tried with a client whose computer does not exist within the network.

On this tab - http://www.craigbrass.net/personal/i...408-134432.jpg - try setting the IP address manually (use this IP). Have your client go to What's My IP Address? Your IP is 216.12.216.194 to find out what IP to use.

This sounds very much like a firewall or filtering issue

No direct instructions for that router but Port Forwarding for the Linksys RV082 should be similar.

Also disable EVERYTHING running locally on the machine if it still doesn't work (Firewall / AV / AS / etc) just to be sure nothing is blocking connectivity and / or it functioning.

I do not believe the ViewShare port is automatically added to the Windows firewall, either. Ensure to create a separate rule for it.
