I doubt is in infected. It is just very buggy software as of late. http://www.craigbrass.net/personal/i...308-211504.jpg can likely prove that lol

Your request - 22-03-2008, 09:57 PM

Jamie,

Regarding your request: "Please can you e-mail Roger Clark (roger dot clark at kayako.com) with a link to this post and access to an administrator account?" I will email Roger, and I can provide access to my server, though this requires several steps and is somewhat onerous because of the strict security features we have on our site. Is it not possible to solve this problem without accessing my server?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

I am afraid not - it is the only way we will be able to see what is going on; the error message is very specific, if your credentials are correct then something else must be going wrong somewhere.

The 22nd is a Saturday. Kayako don't work weekends and they were off yesterday. This means that they will only just be getting into the office now (due to the time delay behimd GMT). I would leave it another day or two.

Has this issue been resolved, as we are still experiencing problems with Live Support v3.1.1.56 STABLE?

Hi ddixon,

Please upgrade to the latest stable version from here: http://hotfix.kayako.com/latest.php?...ildtype=stable and see if the problem persists. Insure to completely uninstall your previous version before installing the new one.

And by completly uninstalling, I recommend the following just to be sure :-
1. Uninstall via control panel.
2. Delete the entire directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Kayako\LiveResponse or C:\Program Files\Kayako\LiveResponse
3. Delete the directory C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Kayako\LiveR esponse or C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAMEHERE\Application Data\Kayako\LiveResponse
4. Optionally you can also delete (using Start -> Run -> regedit) HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Kayako -> LiveResponse

Hi JJH1947,

Did you hear back from Roger? I've asked him to update you.

Two months -- still no help - 15-05-2008, 04:40 AM

Jamie,

Almost two months have gone by.

I still cannot use LiveResponse.

I have emailed Roger several times.

Needless to say, I am quite frustrated.

If Kayako cannot or will not fix my problem, please let me know, and I will hire someone.

John
