Hi mtg212,

Did you catch which files were in the error messages?

I have not had any file errors installing the application. I uninstalled the old version - rebooted - and installed the new version.

I am getting the same error, I can request a chat and I will be notified. As a staff member requesting the chat I respond to the request by accepting the chat and type a test message. Once i send the message off it doesn't appear to go into the chat window, nor can the requestor type any messages because the prior message was not received. I just get the errors:

The client's chat window is not responding. If you continue to receive this message, the client may have ended the chat session, or the session may have timed out.

Hi blweb,

Does this happen with every chat, and only since installing the latest of the builds?

Aloha again my fine feathered friends...
Just a quick like question, are the files located here:
Index of /download/lr/3.1.1.50/win32

and

Index of /download/lr/3.1.1.50/win32

the same? or do i have the same place bookmarked twice (as when i bookmarked them they were different)

Oh yes, I would love to test this out, but server work still continues so we get all kinds of bonker errors (im not sure why it takes so long for the engineers to do things, most of the time when i see them they're shooting dice or playing Portal)...

Hi keola,

Please bookmark Kayako Software Downloads - the most reliable way to ensure you receive the correct files. To view Unstable releases, click on the link at the bottom of the page after selecting a product.

Ahh thank you greatly, I'm using all the unstable stuff as the windows update pretty much killed the last stable build for me. Well that and unstable just sounds cooler!!!...

Hi Jamie - I've only tried with the last 4 revisions of the liveresponse. I have not tried the one bundled with stable : 3.11.01

Hi blweb,

This sounds like a problem with your network or server. If you continue to encounter problems, please submit a support ticket.

Thanks,

Well,

I wish I could say that this update helped but all it does is produce instant crashes everytime it loads. :-/

Hi John,

Any error messages, anything in your system's error log? I (and the users who have been sent this build) cannot reproduce this.

on vista it is solved...it was the proxy config by default

on xp we have no precise error, it is the windows error when an application hangs

Hi there,

Have you tried completely uninstalling Live Response and then installing again? http://hotfix.kayako.com/download/lr...0-UNSTABLE.exe
