Latest Windows Update crashes LiveResponse

For those of you who are still having problems: can you test the application without the following IE updates installed (in the first page of the thread):

And let me know if it still crashes? I need to know whether this is what is causing it for all of you.

Does anybody know how to get ZoneAlarm to recognize the new small software version update.

This latest release seems to work fine for me, but when I have zonealarm running, it's blocking it from accessing the internet because it doesn't recognize the new program.

I usually get a popup from zonealarm asking me to allow the new program to access the internet, but with this small fix version, I didn't get that popup, and I'm not sure how to prompt it.

I tried adding the program via the zone alarm "Program Control" list, but that didn't seem to do it.

I seem to be having a problem with this new client. For the past two days I have been leaving my laptop on over night. Each morning I come to my laptop I find that Windows is telling me it is low on Virtual Memory. After I login I can see C++ Runtime Errors coming from LiveResponce.exe. I guess this is a memory leak. Sadly the event logs don't show a great deal.

Is there anything else I can do to diagnose this issue?

You know I just installed this .56 stable build and it still has memory leak problems. atleast with .55 unstable it only filled the pagefile but .56 has the same problem as the origional builds.

I will try that update and see what happens. I've been running the version that was first created after this problem was first found.

.56 was only released on the 26th and I thought it had fixed the issue.

I just installed .56 stable and it seems to be working fine with no leaks so far (running for about 2 hours now)

Is anyone else having problems with the SIP addon on the .56 build, it keeps crashing Live response when you try to make a call

On the previous builds .55 etc it just crashed the minute you opened it at all but on the latest build its when you dial a number

Roger: Just to let you know, I am on Vista Ultimate 64 Bit and the WinApp crashes whenever I go onto the network tab *scratches head*

I cannot get the new version installed, I have to stick with .56. When I reinstall, it doesn't open, it crashes and tells me to reinstall. Anyone else have this?
