Live Chat not working, its been over a week with no solution from support... - 20-01-2008, 12:10 AM

VMM-924892 is the ticket number for anyone that has access to that and wants to follow up on this.

I have a hosted live response and I can't use it the Live Response application on my computer.

When I initiate or receive a chat, my chat window shows this:
compressed;4b46cd833b37d8535e9b5a1dd49bdfb9;6bb61e 3b7bce0931da574d19d1d82c88;13;2;x-1_

This ticket has been open for 2 weeks now.

Now 2 days ago I was told that they were going to change some things in the config.

Hi Cody,

The error you are receiving during chats is due to a "session expiration" which can be caused by several things. The first thing I'd like you to try is:

In /config/config.php, on line 75, change:

$_SWIFT["disablesessionipcheck"] = false;
to
$_SWIFT["disablesessionipcheck"] = true;

If this doesn't change anything, go back into config.php, on line 94 and change:

//define("DEBUGSESSIONEXPIRY", true);
to
define("DEBUGSESSIONEXPIRY", true);

The next time you chat, you will still receive an error, but there should be a descriptive error message in the Event Log. Please attach it to your next reply.

It has been 3 days now with no reply, it can't take that long to get FTP access? I have customers that I can't help because the chat doesn't work, I mean, this is annoying.

So I decided if they can't get it right then I am going to just get a refund and find another solution. Which seems appropriate for my circumstances.

Jamie should be able to get this chased up for you tomorrow when the staff are back in the office.

I find it a tad weird that Ryan doesn't have access to these details tho.

Not at first, but I did end up changing the one for the live chat logo.

But that was after I found out it wasn't working.

There were some delays due to some policy changes related to the hosted accounts, but I've just made the modifications and replied to your ticket.
