Live Responce and SSL - 02-04-2007, 04:46 AM

Hello,

I installed my copy of Support Suite under a domain which has a valid SSL cert. so I could place the tracking and live support buttons on secured pages. However when I include the tracking code in the pages over the https connection I still receive error messages.

What am I doing wrong?

This page contains unsecured items.

I'm calling the JS over https,. however apparently it writes to the page containing elements with simple http? or uses http to communicate with the backend?

Make sure the Product URL in the helpdesk is set to https and not http. This can cause such an issue.

I would like most of the communications to take place over HTTP, however on the order form I would need the HTTPS connection for that. Is this not possible?

No, that will pop up the warning message. You either have a choice to have everything on HTTP or at a secured location.
