Live response app offline - 21-11-2006, 11:41 PM

i am having issues with the live response windows application continually logging me off online support. it will remain online for approx 5 mins and then will automatically switch to offline mode. i have just started using support suite and want the online status to be working for 5 hour periods without being offline. is there a setting that i am missing? or is this just a bug? does anyone else have this issue?

yep its something - my users want to dump the whole project due to it now... see the thread here: WinApp logs out constantly

Have you updated your Live Response? The last couple of releases there have been a lot of changes.

I am currently using the latest LiveResponse & SupportSuite and it works great. From what I have seen for myself and what my staff have said it appears to be very stable.

The dev's are working very hard to get all problems fixed and from what i have seen they have been fixed that day or have been fixed asap.

What errors are you receiving in the error log?

Just to keep everyone informed, we are aware of the flaws in the WinApp that cause it to disconnect seemingly randomly. Please read our Blog posts about this:

The new code is in Beta right now, and has already been distributed to the Official Kayako Testers group. Expect the new builds soon.

I have changed the refresh visitor data to 30 seconds and mark me away as idle after 149 minuets and have not had the application crash since changing it(over 3 days ago) , im not sure why this is but it seems to do the trick. hope this can help anyone else having this issue
