LiveAPP issue.. - 12-12-2007, 04:06 AM

Dear Support/Community,

Could someone please assist with the liveapp,

the problem i am experiencing is strange, we will have aprox. 50-60 staff members logged into the liveapp (within the network), so far there is currently 3-4 staff testing the software, the issue we are experiencing is that upon a member logging into the system, the popup will initiate fine as per normal on the remote pcs so say the person has logged in..

following that when attempting to message that person from the main interface, it will make the popup on the remote pc although, it will not send one request, it sends aprox 30-40 popups (before i kill the process) - obviously if i don't kill it, it will continue...

We have tried to uninstall and revert to previous versions, any suggestions ?

from the attached file the only thing that is missing is the "compressed ikjlfdjfklji84jiojfjkjefkljiof" message within the content frame.

I must also say, i forgot to add, we have removed the "live chat" from the main page as the livechat will only be used to "chat between operators" as an internal communication.

Sorry to hear you're having problems. I have forwarded this thread to a desktop app developer, who will get back to you shortly.

In the meantime, are you running the latest STABLE version from http://hotfix.kayako.com?

Hi joshuah,

Can you please download the very latest UNSTABLE release, and try that. Don't be concerned by the tag, it is certainly usable and does not mean this particular one is actually unstable

Thanks for the response Jamie,

We are still having no luck with this...

Installed the most up to date (unstable) app (as per your above URL)

Althoug hthe same issue is occuring, although it doesn't flood us with 50+ windows, it returns the following ( see image )

Can you e-mail roger.clark (kayako.com) with a link to this thread describing your problem? He should be able to assist you - it may be a problem with your system, but either way we'll get a definite answer and hopefully a solution!
