LiveResponse Window Focus - 14-01-2008, 12:10 PM

I noticed when chatting to a Kayako sales person, that when I had the window minimized, I did not get any kind of focus event to alert me on the fact that the sales person had added to the conversation.

Is this common with other installations of the LiveResponse Chat Window?

For a support usage it's not going to be very useful to us if the staff member gets no alert to tell them that the customer is adding to the existing conversation, and thus the staff member will have to make sure to check the chat window themselves.

Hi GoneShootin,

Are you using Firefox? This is a known issue with this browser, that is in the bug tracker (Kayako Bug Tracker - Viewing Bug #349 - Firefox does not get focus).

Yes indeed it is FireFox. Can't seem to access bugs.kayako.com for some reason...

Ok. Thanks for the update. It might be an idea to leave a message on the homepage of that bugs.kayako.com address to tell visitors that the reason it is inaccessible is because of the maintenance?

It would be, but unfortantly there is no server there at all yet; we'll get it up soon though
